Day 3 — Cu Chi Tunnels & Saigon City Tour

This morning, board a speedboat for a group tour of the Cu Chi Tunnels and beat the crowds by arriving hours before the large bus tours. During the journey enjoy a stunning river cruise, and listen to your English-speaking guide introducing life along the banks of the Saigon River. On arrival, your guide will take you on a tour through the famous tunnels used by the communist guerrillas during the Vietnam War. The tunnel network stretches over 250km and extends over three levels underground, providing you with a remarkable insight into the hardships, courage, determination and terror of a guerrilla war.

Lunch will be taken at a local Vietnamese restaurant, where you'll be able to sample some unique regional dishes before heading back to Saigon for a half-day city tour that features a visit to the former Presidential Palace, the Saigon History Museum, the neo-Romanesque Saigon Notre-Dame Basilica and Dong Khoi Street, a bustling avenue full of shops, cafés, restaurants and beautiful French architecture. Your tour also includes a visit to the Saigon Skydeck on the 48th floor of the Bitexo Financial Tower, offering superb 3600 views of the city.
