Royal Clipper

Inspired by the famous tall ship, the Preussen, Royal Clipper is the largest and only five-masted sailing ship in the world. With all of her 42 sails unfurled, the ship is a beautiful sight to behold as it cuts across the waves. Offering the best ocean-going experience possible, the Royal Clipper offers its 227 guests an adventure like no-other, complete with gourmet cuisine cooked to order and modern amenities designed to enhance the guests experience. A cruise aboard the Royal Clipper is the ultimate in the luxury cruise experience.

Guests of Star Clippers enjoy continental or full breakfasts in the dining room, lunch buffets of seafood, salads and grilled meats or barbecues on shore. In the evening, the elegant dining room serves fine food and wine in a relaxed atmosphere – there's no need for black tie – and often the ship's officers will join you.

There's plenty to do onboard Star Clippers' yachts, from tying bowlines, hoisting sails and climbing to the crow's nest, to relaxing in the spa or leaning against the bar as a favourite officer spins another yarn. Local performers come onboard at each port and live bands from each region play tropical tunes for an authentic taste of the  area's music and arts.

Guests can relax in one of the pools, listen to favourite tunes in the piano bar, visit the bridge to see the captain plot the route or learn how to splice a line, reef a sail or tie a square knot. On beach days, you can swim, windsurf, water-ski, ride a banana boat, explore in a zodiac or sail a small boat.

The Royal Clipper also contains a marina platform, from which you can explore remote reefs, underwater wrecks and blue lagoons.
