Queen Victoria

Queen Victoria joined the Cunard fleet in 2007 and continues the legacy of a company rich in maritime heritage. Aboard, guests are able to enjoy a variety of public lounges, bars and facilities decorated in rich marbles and woods with elegant furnishings. When Queen Victoria launched, she was the only cruise ship to feature private theatre boxes at sea and still retains this title, along with her sister the Queen Elizabeth.

In all there are eight dining venues, and while each stateroom is matched to a reserved table in a sea-view restaurant, guests can choose to make reservations at any of the alternatives or take complimentary room service, available 24 hours a day. The available wine selection is the largest at sea.

Queens Grill Restaurant

An elegant, single-seating restaurant with exclusive luxury touches. Tables are reserved for those in the most sumptuous suites.

Princess Grill Restaurant

Tables here are reserved for those in Princess Grill suites, the ship’s second level of luxury. What’s more, the Grill restaurants have long been acclaimed as the finest dining experience at sea.

Britannia Restaurant

The Queen Victoria’s main dining room is spread over three floors, allowing guests to make a regal entrance and sweep down the grand staircase.

Todd English

Serving Mediterranean cuisine from one of America’s leading chefs - Todd English received the Robert Mondavi Award for Culinary Excellence. Reservations required.


This restaurant offers a more relaxed and casual setting, with seating for up to 450 guests.

Golden Lion Pub

A British-style pub where classic pub lunches, such as fish and chips and cottage pie, are served alongside fine lagers, ales and pub snacks.

The Courtyard

Grill guests are welcomed to this exclusive area for afternoon tea.

The Grills Lounge

The place for pre-dinner drinks, canapés and champagne.

Guests have a number of daytime activities to enjoy onboard the Queen Victoria. There’s ballroom dancing lessons, computer tuition, enrichment programmes, spa facilities, a library stocked with 6,000 titles, and the sports deck seeking your attention. Then there are the afternoon teas in the Queens Room, the Royal Court Theatre productions, Royal Arcade shopping and even a winter garden conservatory in which to unwind in the sunshine among greenery.

At night, guests can chance their hand in the Empire Casino, enjoy a pre-dinner cocktail in the Chart Room, puff on cigars in Churchill’s Cigar Lounge, drink ales in the Golden Lion, dance away in the Hemispheres nightclub beneath a glass domed roof, catch a performance at the Royal Court Theatre, or enjoy a cup of tea in the Queens Room.
