The inspiration for the cooking on Aegean Odyssey draws on the culinary traditions of the areas the Aegean Odyssey visits and the gastronomic culture of using the very best fresh local ingredients, cooked in a simple but delicious and healthy style.
There are three restaurants: The Marco Polo is the most formal of the ship's restaurants with a full waiter service: The Terrace Café & Grill has outdoor and indoor seating, cooking on an open grill and a casual atmosphere; and Outside at the Terrace is the ideal place for evening snacks and drinks. With dinner on board wine is always complimentary.
Much of the entertainment on board is focussed on the award-winning lecture programme, with informative and entertaining lectures taking place most nights or during days at sea in the Ambassador Lounge. There'll be a range of experts on board to bring the ancient sites to life - from classical architecture to ancient philosophy and military history.
There is also a string trio, pianist and occasional visiting local entertainment. The welcome cocktail party is casual without the usual formalities.
