Star Clipper ships get makeover

Royal Clipper and Star Flyer have emerged from two-week dry docks, ready for their 2013 cruises.

Star Clippers flagship, Royal Clipper, received new carpeting in the main dining room and guest corridors along with new upholstery. The wood panelling in the ships public areas received a new coat of varnish, whilst passenger cabins received a bathroom makeover and a fresh lick of paint.

On-board Star Flyer, the ships soft furnishings were replaced, new carpet was laid in public areas and seating cushions were updated in the library and dining room. New artwork was installed throughout the sailing ship, and all the cabins received fresh paint work.
