Flights & Transfers
The Virgin flights were very good. We found the lounge at Heathrow to be excellent, but we were not impressed with the one in Cape Town.
Pre cruise hotels
We booked our pre-cruise hotel independently and found "The One and Only" excellent.
There were no queues, which was very good. The ship arrived into port late so our suite was not ready when we embarked. We couldn't find any champagne in our room anywhere.
Our suite was fine. We found the ship looking a little dated in certain areas. Our fridge was not stocked like it used to be, so we had to ask about this and apparently they do not offer caviar anymore, which was a shame.
Food and dining
We tried all the restaurants and found the food quality to be very good, but not quite how it used to be.
Good, but a little tired in places.
Itinerary and ports of call
Mozambique was fairly adequate, however we felt that the rest of the ports of call were brilliant.
We found all the shore excursions to be well-organised, however we recommend that everyone studies the information leaflets before participating. If it is not suitable then don't go. The tour guides were very knowledgable.
Thank you for your excellent help, Cathy.
