Solstice Med Cruise

The cabins were a little larger than expected and the bathrooms were great, glass shower screens etc, no steam and lots of cupboard space.

The food was excellent and tried just one speciality evening in the ’Tuscan Grille’ which was well worth the cover charge. My only grumble was never enough sun beds on sea days and the usual habit of people leaving all their stuff on them for hours on end but not actually using them, the staff didn’t enforce the rule of removing items left more than 30 mins.

The lawn club is fun but the Hot Glass show is a once seen don’t need to se again type of event. The staff and service were superb, we had ’select’ dining to eat anytime and never had to wait for a table on the evenings we didn’t book.

The entertainment was ok for my needs as I don’t chose a cruise with that at the top of my ’list’ and it was nice not to be having the days events pushed down the tannoy system on a regualr basis. I would cruise on the Solstice ships again without worry nowing I would have a very realxing and enjoyable holiday being well looked after!
