Silversea Cruises announce Sea and Land Taste Project
Silversea Cruises has announced the development of an innovative new culinary enrichment programme entitled S.A.L.T - an acronym of ‘Sea and Land Taste’. Designed in collaboration with Adam Sachs, Silversea’s Sea and Land Taste project will enable Silversea guests to travel deeper through a range of culinary insights.
Silversea S.A.L.T programme
The new S.A.L.T. programme will be tailored according to the region the luxury cruise ships are sailing in, and will incorporate both onboard and shore-side enrichment, such as:
- Market trips
- Winery visits
- Dining experiences in regional restaurants and bars
- Food and wine tastings
- Special dinners with guest hosts
- Insightful food lectures
- Cooking classes
- Demonstrations from local guest chefs and food experts
Launching on board Silver Moon in August 2020, a dedicated S.A.L.T. Lab will provide the perfect setting for Silversea guests to explore culinary cultures from around the world, while a new S.A.L.T. restaurant will serve regional cuisine that will adapt according to where the Silversea Cruises ships are sailing. The new culinary concept will make authentic and local cuisine available to all guests throughout the cruise.
