Silversea announce 2013 cooking series
On fourteen voyages across the globe, acclaimed chef and culinary trainer, David Bilsland, who is a former instructor at the Le Cordon Bleu culinary school in London, will be hosting Silversea's exclusive "Relais and Chateaux L'Ecole des Chefs" interactive cooking school in 2013.
The innovative cookery program, which is offered exclusively on the cruise lines luxury ships is complimentary and provides guests with a culinary curriculum, which will include hands-on workshops, demonstrations and entertaining events.
Each curriculum has been designed to celebrate the cultural cuisine of the ships itinerary, meaning guests could be preparing vegetable fritto misto one day and Cajun-inspired prawns the next. In addition to this, on select culinary voyages, a "Market to Plate" culinary experience will be offered, which provides as escorted tour of a local market, followed by a cooking class and a culinary excursion to a local restaurant or hotel where guests will be able to enjoy a unique culinary exploration and delight their senses.
The fourteen culinary voyages sail between February and December in Africa, Asia, Europe, and the South Pacific aboard the Silver Cloud, Silver Explorer, Silver Wind, Silver Shadow and Silver Spirit.
