Silversea announces new partnership


Award winning luxury cruise operator Silversea have announced a partnership with The Royal Geographic Society (and the Institute of British Geographers), to provide detailed scientific and historical facts to guests embarking on some of the greatest journeys around the globe aboard Silver Explorer and Silver Galapagos.

The society, whose Royal Patron is Queen Elizabeth II, contains more than two million items within its historical collections, including 500,000 photographs and 250,000 book and journals that date back as far as 1482. Guests sailing aboard the two Silversea Expeditions cruise ships will benefit from a wide range of specialist visual and written content from the Society, enabling guest to learn even more about their expedition to destinations including Antarctica, the Arctic, the Galapagos Islands, South America, Africa and Europe.
