Oceania unveils Summer 2014 collection
The award-winning luxury cruise operator Oceania Cruises have just unveiled their new collection of itineraries for Summer 2014. Featuring ninety voyages, ten new ports of call and an almost new line-up of itineraries, the lines five luxury vessels Riviera, Marina, Regatta, Insignia and Nautica will sail to more than 180 worldwide destinations.
The cruise line' latest ship, Riviera, will spend the entire summer cruising the idyllic Mediterranean on a seven, ten and fourteen day voyages, sailing from Barcelona and the French Riviera to as far east as the Black Sea. She will conclude her European season with a transoceanic voyage to Miami.
Marina will begin her European season in June 2013 with a series of voyages in Northern Europe before re-positioning to the Mediterranean, from where she will then sail on a transoceanic voyage from Lisbon to Rio De Janeiro.
Beginning in May 2014, Nautica will sail the shores of the Western Mediterranean before heading North to offer a series of voyages in Northern Europe, which will explore Greenland, Iceland and as far north as the Polar Ice Barrier.
Following a two-year charter, Insignia will return to the Oceania Cruises fleet in May 2014. She will set sail on a variety of Mediterranean and Atlantic-Coast voyages, which include calls to Bilbao, Lisbon and Bordeaux.
Regatta will be sailing from Seattle on a series of round-trip Alaskan voyages throughout the summer before setting sail through the Panama Canal and offering a 24-day Amazon Odyssey sailing from Miami on November 4, 2014.
Both Regatta and Insignia will offer seven autumn cruises along the Eastern Seaboard, the most in Oceania Cruises' history. Voyages include 10-day sailings between New York and Montreal, which will visit some of the most beautiful destinations in Canada and New England.
