Oceania Cruises launch Europe 2011 and another ship
Oceania Cruises has launched its new “2011 European Collection”, which has now gone on sale in the UK. There are 21 new itineraries onboard Insignia, Nautica, and the brand new Marina will cover the continent in its entirety. Oceania Cruises offers 32 unique itineraries, with new opportunities to travel to off-the-beaten-path to destinations in Greece, Turkey, Sweden and Denmark, along with favourite ports of call in France, Italy, Spain, Scandinavia and Russia.
The Marina, Oceania Cruises new $600 million flagship, sets sail on its inaugural season of 20 European voyages, including Egypt, Israel, Iceland and the Polar Ice Barrier. Included are a selection of western European itineraries that focus on the wine producing regions and local cuisines of Italy, Spain, Portugal and France, and an array of off-the-beaten-path ports such as Zakinthos, Greece; Rønne, Denmark; Murmansk, Russia; Marmaris, Turkey; and Portree, Scotland.
Oceania Cruises have recently cut the steel for its second new-build - to be called Riviera. The ship will be built at the same shipyard as Marina, which has just been floated out at Fincantieri shipyard in Genoa, Italy
