Oceania Cruises Feature Regional Cuisine in Alaska

Oceania Cruises will feature new cuisine from the Pacific Northwest region of America on Regatta when she sails on her Alaska itineraries in 2011.

Pacific Northwest cuisine will be available in the casual Terrace Café during the cruise and in the main Grand Dining Room. In the evenings, Alaskan specialties will be featured in all four of the ship's restaurants.

The ship's executive chef will shop at local stores, seeking fresh fish and produce, and this will influence that evenings meals and menu selection - such as fresh halibut velouté, poached local wild salmon, local Ling cod or Alaskan King Crab Legs.

Highlights of Oceania's maiden Alaska season include two days of glacier cruising and a mix of off-the-beaten-path ports. The 10-day Alaska cruise starts from £1,999
