New Photography Expedition Voyage on RCGS Resolute
One Ocean Expeditions have seen a rise in the popularity of their Photography Symposium voyages and to meet this demand have added a new photography focused expedition to their Antarctic 2018-2019 season on board their new ship - RCGS Resolute.
This incredible 10-night itinerary will allow passengers to delve further into their passion for photography and also take them across the Antarctic Circle and along the Antarctic Peninsula, all while enjoying this remarkable polar wilderness onboard the exceptionally comfortable RCGS Resolute. Sailing from 11March 2019 on an Antarctic Peninsula Adventure voyage, passengers will be able to enjoy the arrival of the Antarctic autumn, with its prolonged hours of soft twilight and distinct night time.

Not only does this photography voyage include a specially designed itinerary, hands-on photographic support, specialist lectures and award-winning group leaders, it’s taking place onboard One Ocean Expeditions newest vessel, . The special photography voyage will be led by internationally renowned photographers Dave Brosha and Paul Zizka, both of whom have an interactive approach to the on board workshops. There will also be dedicated photography zodiacs, and plenty of technical and creative support for all abilities. The passion for adventure and capturing the beauty of the world’s most remote wildernesses held by all the expert photographers onboard, combined with a specialist focus on landscape photography, wildlife, nature and astrophotography, makes this voyage every photographers dream.
The incredible sunsets and sunrises at this time of year provide an extraordinary palette of colours which set the snowy mountains of the Antarctic continent ablaze with colour. Also, there is a real chance of encountering the spectacular Aurora Australis. Add to this the fascinating formation of sea ice and an array of marine and bird life, on the move as the seasons change, and you have an unmissable voyage.
