Mr Fitch Transatlantic June 2013
- Name: Mr and Mrs Fitch
- Ship: QM2
- Area of World NYC-Southampton
- Cruise Line: Cunard
- Month/Year of Travel June 2013
Flights and Transfers: Virgin flight was great, the Clubhouse is very good. The private transfer that Cathy arranged picked us up at NYC Airport on time, and was very good.
Pre cruise hotel: Le Parker Meridien NYC. Hotel room was very good but the view of the park was disappointing. Didn't feel it was worth the extra money we paid. The bar was too small for the size of the hotel, could not get a seat in the evening. Restaurant only opens between 7am -3pm
Embarkation: No queues, on the ship within 30 minutes. Very smooth.
Suite: (AA Club Balcony) Suite was very good, good wardrobe space, very clean and our cabin steward was great.
Food and Dining: Excellent
Entertainment: Guest lecturers were not for us this time but the rest of the entertainment was excellent.
Public Rooms: All very good and clean.
On-board service: On-board service was excellent. Drinks were on the high side, they don't give you any loyalty discount unlike P&O.
My service: I've been with Cathy Chesman for 10 years plus. Her service is always great and to a very high standard. We've never been let down. Thank you.
