Meet Cruise Director Jamie Logan from Regent Seven Seas

Jamie is a highly-energetic cruise director who loves to sail the world and give guests the cruise experience of a lifetime with luxury cruise line Regent. However the native of New Jersey never planned for a career at sea.

Upon earning a Master of Science Degree in Cardiac Rehabilitation from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse, he headed south to intern at a preventive medial centre in Houston, Texas, where he became involved in the development of a "Fitness Cruise" for Sun Line’s Stella Solaris.

As fate would have it, he soon found himself cruising on a twenty-three day voyage as the co-ordinator and was later offered a full-time position with the company.

For two years, Logan sailed between the Greek Isles, Turkey and South America before being lured to the Orient by Royal Viking Line. There he was very quickly promoted to an Assistant Cruise Director position and soon took over the reigns as Cruise Director and stayed with Royal Viking Line for a further four years.

In 1990, Jamie married Dana, of whom he had then known for five years. Since then, the have both logged over twenty years of cruise experience; twelve of those have been with Regent.

They have been blessed to sail around the world over thirteen times and have visited over four hundred ports of call. This has given Jamie broad experience in planning activities and events for Regent guests and his mission is to provide you with the personal touch whilst helping you to relax have fun and feel at home.

When he not working, Jamie and his wife Dana call Traverse City in Michigan home.
