Fab First Cruise

Unfortnately for us the Britannia was the first disappointment. The staff there on the first night were disorganised and rushed. We were seated in a area which looked like it was part of the walkway between tables. Drinks were forgotten and menu was not to the standard expected. We took the rest of our meals in the Lido, and found that the service here was much better, staff were friendly and not over bearing when it come to ordering drinks.

The stateroom was amazing, aways kept clean and done early in the day, bathroom was compact but spotless, with shampoo’s etc plentiful. Vast amount of storage space. Flat screen TV fully adjustable so could view from different area of room. Bed soo comfy.

We only took a excursion to Flanders and the tour guide on this was excellant, very passionate about the history of his country (a refreshing change). Shows were short but good, although it was evident that they werent to every ones taste, and watching the Ballroom dancing almost got the OH dancing.

As this was a short 5 day cruise it was a brillant introduction to cruising for my husband, and we have already booked the next one.
