Cunard's New Onboard Sculpture - it could be you!

Cunard Cruises have launched a search to find the best aspiring artists – to create a brand new sculpture that will adorn the Royal Arcade on the cruise line’s new ship, Queen Elizabeth.

The Royal Arcade is the main shopping area onboard Queen Elizabeth – due to be launched in October 2010 and currently under construction in Italy. A popular part of the ship, the winning sculpture will be seen buy tens of thousands of people over the ships lifetime.

Cunard are running the competition in conjunction with The Daily Telegraph and is open to everyone. Full details and terms and conditions can be found on telegraph.co.uk/culture

The competition closes in December and will be judged by Charles Saumarez Smith, Chief Executive of the Royal Academy of Arts, amongst others.
