Crystal announce exclusive boutique adventure
In an industry-first, the ultra-luxury cruise operator Crystal Cruises are offering guests the opportunity to celebrate a private Sunday service at the remote Our Lady of Aparecida Chapel, situated at the base of the world-famous Christ the Redeemer statue.
Limited to just fifteen guests, The Private Mass at Corcovado: Christ the Redeemer excursion is unique and something only that Crystal Cruises could offer. This is the latest rare travel experience to be added to the cruise lines shore-side experiences, and one that took over a year to seek approval and organise.
The Chapel was built to commemorate the statue' 75th anniversary and was named for the patron saint of Brazil. Located 2,300 feet above sea level, the chapel offers incredible views of Rio De Janeiro and provides the perfect photo opportunity.
The 21-night voyage aboard the luxurious Crystal Serenity begins on March 10 with an overnight stay in Rio De Janeiro before visiting destinations including Manaus, Boca de Valeria and the Amazon River before concluding in Miami.
