Chef Nobu Matsuhisa to host dinners on Crystal

Today Crystal Cruises announced that one of the world's greatest culinary artist, Chef Nobu Matsuhisa will be visiting the luxury cruise operator this summer to teach, mingle, dine and cook for guests.

The famed sushi maestro is the mastermind behind Crystal's exclusive Silk Road and The Sushi Bar restaurants, in addition to running restaurants in more than thirty locations worldwide.

Chef Matsuhisa will join the Crystal Symphony as she sail on a twelve-night voyage to Istanbul, departing from Rome on the 13th of July. He will be accompanied by Fumio Hazu, the Sake Master behind Nobu's exclusive 140 year old brand. The two renowned culinary and mixology artists will showcase their skills during several intimate gourmet experiences, including:

  • Two Chef's Choice Dinners
  • Sake Tasting Sessions
  • Live Cooking Demonstrations
  • Cookbook Signings
  • Photo Opportunities

Crystal's Nobu-cuisine restaurants are the only ones of their kind to be found at sea, and feature Chef Matsuhisa's signature dishes, sake and even his own line of dinnerware. The complimentary venues offer mouth-watering dishes that past passengers continue to praise about time and time again.

The 12-night "Bounties of the Black Sea" itinerary will visit ports of call including Sorrento, Sicily, Yalta and Sochi. For more detail on pricing and availability, please click here.
