Celebrity Cruises to spend $400 million on Celebrity Revolution
Celebrity Cruises have announced a Celebrity Revolution that will transform their existing fleet – at a cost of $400 million dollars.
Taking place over the next five years, Celebrity Cruises will embark on a fleet-wide program of modernisation that will include completely new stateroom designs with bathroom upgrades and a new cashmere bedding collection. Space in the staterooms will be optimised for efficient storage, and the Aqua Class staterooms will be reimagined. Brian Abel, VP of Hotel Operations said “We’re not just redesigning the staterooms, we’re tearing them down and building them back up”
The Suites experience will be enhanced with guests gaining access to a new resort-style Sundeck, and a revamped Retreat Lounge, where guests can enjoy free drinks, snack and enjoy live entertainment.
A new menu featuring globally influenced menus will be introduced exclusively on Millennium class ships - Celebrity Constellation, Celebrity Infinity, Celebrity Millennium and Celebrity Summit.
The Oceanview Cafe and the main dining room will also receive extensive upgrades.
The Celebrity Revolution started with the introduction of Celebrity Edge and now continues with a complete modernisation of the entire Celebrity Cruises fleet.
