Celebrity announce Excite the Senses Voyages
Each "Excite the Senses" voyage will offer food-lover a comprehensive sensory experience, of which will include demonstration, tastings and behind-the-scenes culinary experiences that will be led by Celebrity's team of talented chefs, sommeliers and experts.
This year, Celebrity are to offer at least four "Excite the Senses" themed cruises, with the first one beginning with the Celebrity Reflection's Eastern Caribbean voyage on March 9. During this particular 7-day voyage, guest will be able to meet Scott Steenrod, Vice President of Food and Beverage Operations and Chef John Suley - the line's James Beard-featured Director of Culinary Operations.
Popular activities include the art and architecture of modern pastry, cheese education and tasting classes are just a handful of what guests can look forward to experiencing onboard, in addition to signature dishes throughout the voyage.
If that wasn't enough, Junior Merino, known as "The Liquid Chef", will be onboard to share his expertise in using fresh and unexpected ingredients to create the perfect drink at the popular Molecular Bar, found on board all of the award-winning and luxurious Solstice Class ships. Details regarding the other "Excite the Senses" voyages are to be released in due course; however we do know that these will take place in July, August and October of this year.
