AmaWaterways unveils 2014 Africa program
River cruise operator AmaWaterways have announced the release of their 2014 Africa Safari and Wildlife Cruise brochure.
AmaWaterways will present four different land safari itineraries, all of which include a wildlife river safari along the famous Chobe River in Botswana.
Guests sailing aboard the wildlife river cruises will enjoy four nights aboard the beautiful Zambezi Queen. The modern "eco-ship" offers deluxe accommodations for twenty-eight guests, gourmet dining options and floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows throughout, allowing for un-obtrusive views of the river banks and beyond.
The cruise operators cruise and land safari programs include the 12-day Discover Africa, the 15-day Rivers & Rails of Africa, the 16-day Stars of South Africa and the 18-day Golden Trails of East Africa itineraries.
New enhancements to the 2014-program include the River & Rails of Africa itinerary, which will feature two nights aboard the Rovos Rail train, in addition to exclusive use of some of the most highly rated accommodations in Africa, some of which are within the top 10 category, as voted for by readers of the Travel + Leisure publication. Additional highlights for each itinerary option will include city tours, wine tastings, game drives, canoe excursions and much more.
