AmaWaterways announce river cruising first
AmaWaterways has revealed that its new luxury river cruise ship, due to launch April next year, will boast plenty of river cruising ‘firsts'.
The 164-passenger, twin-hulled AmaCerto will incorporate staterooms with two balconies, a heated swimming pool and multiple fine dining venues.
Every stateroom aboard the vessel will feature an innovatiove Infotainment system, which includes complimentary Internet access and first-run Hollywood movies.
One of highlights of AmaCerto is the amount of deck space, which will be home to a sun deck, lower sun deck and front deck, each offering a different vantage point, as well as a heated pool, whirlpools and a walking track.
AmaCerto will also offer more dining options than any other ship in Europe.
In addition to the main dining room, guests can try the Erlebnis Chef's Table Restaurant, where a private chef will prepare a special tasting menu. Light lunches will be served in the lounge as an alternative to the dining room. Another unique feature is The Wine Room - this room will seat up to 12 guests for a private dinner. On fine days, lunch will be served on the sun deck.
Like the other custom-built ships in the fleet, the new vessel will carry a fleet of bicycles for guests to use in port.
AmaCerto will sail on the Mosel, Rhine, Main and Danube in 2012.
