UNIWORLD RIVER CRUISES – SS ANTOINETTE

SS Antoinette, commissioned in 2011, is Uniworld's latest boutique river cruise ship. Plush riverview staterooms boast hand-crafted beds draped in fine linens, built-in closets and climate-control heating. Staterooms and suites have an open-air private balcony that converts at the flick of a switch to an enclosed conservatory. Additional innovative facilities include a 20-seat cinema, a heated swimming pool and the L'Orangerie sky lounge on the sun deck.

Every Sunday from late March to mid-November, SS Antoinette traverses the Castles Along the Rhine route from Amsterdam to Basel and back again, including the 40-mile UNESCO World Heritage Site between Rüdesheim and Koblenz, where over 40 castles grace a spectacular landscape of rolling hills and vine terraces. Then for four weeks at the end of the year, her course is shortened to Basel-Cologne, and the itinerary pauses at the many Christmas markets that pop up along the river.
