Aboard the MV Deutschland, guests can enjoy refined cuisine with as many as nine courses each evening in the ships three remarkable restaurants, all of which are part of the famous Chaîne des Rôtisseurs.
This would rival the great Queen Elizabeth II’s Queens Room for 1920’s glamour. The whole ship is so well decorated that it really feels like a hotel rather than a cruise ship. It also has an indoor pool – not seen on many ships ....

Berlin Restaurant
The Berlin Restaurant is the beautifully appointed main dining room onboard MV Deutschland, with windows on either side inviting the stunning ocean views into the room and etched-glass partitions to give a more intimate feel to dinner. There is a plentiful salad bar that includes some traditional German treats and an elaborate ten-course menu.
Four Seasons
The Four Seasons à la carte restaurant is open for dinner only and the succulent menu changes daily. Passengers dining here can enjoy candle lit tables for a more intimate atmosphere than the larger dining room and benefit from tableside preparation of certain dishes.
To complement its emphasis on the 1920s, the MV Deutschland tends to lean towards 1920s style entertainment and does so with charm. The main entertainment venue onboard is the Emperor's Ballroom, a grand and elegantly styled room that hosts the ship's orchestra who play ballroom numbers every night.
There are several bars onboard, all beautifully appointed with the MV Deutschland signature wood furnishings. Each of these continue the 1920s entertainment theme, with musical acts form various corners of the continent performing throughout the cruise.
The Wellness Spa on Deck 3 is fitted with a fresh water indoor pool, styled with marble columns and tiled massage tables. Leading off from the main spa room passengers can find Turkish style baths and saunas. As its name suggests, this spa is just as much focused on health conditioning as beauty. Around the spa are areas for treatments such as Thalassotherapy and dry heat, as well as a variety of masks and massages. A consultant from the spa is on hand to lead yoga and Pilates classes on deck.
There is a small fitness centre located in the middle of the ship, boasting sea views for guests to enjoy during a workout. The gymnasium area is fitted with free weights as well as cardiovascular equipment and there is trainer on hand to consult on the use of the machines and supervise various muscular exercises and walks.
