Seven Seas Mariner
The basics
Seven Seas Mariner was the world’s first all-suite all balcony ship when she entered service in 2001, and has proved very popular with Regent Seven Seas Cruises’ loyal clients. The Seven Seas Mariner is the largest ship in the Regent fleet, and accommodates 700 guests in all-inclusive luxury. The spa is run by Carita de Paris, and offers a wide selection of excellent treatments. The Regent Travel Concierge service is excellent – they can custom design virtually any shore request, shore excursion or trip.
We like
We love the Observation Lounge on deck twelve for a quiet spot to read or watch the scenery pass by, and the Stars nightclub for some dancing. We like the spacious suites and public spaces that this larger ship provides, along with the alternative dining options and choice of bars and lounges. The large pool deck with 3 whirlpools and a swimming pool is a great place to relax on sunny sea days – do try lunch at the excellent pool grill – delicious.
What you should know
Children are welcome on Regent, and they operate their Club Mariner children’s programme during the summer on select sailings.
May we suggest
You book to eat at Latitudes, featuring Indo-Chinese cuisine, where you can see the chefs preparing your meal, or even participate. There is no cover charge to eat at Latitudes, but book early as it is very popular.
Recommended for
Seven Seas Mariner is for clients who like the amenities and variety of public spaces that a larger ship can provide, yet who still want the all-inclusive luxury and exemplary service you get on a 6-star vessel.
