The Viking Century Sun has excellent staff, superb tour escorts and guides and, as an operating base, I saw and experienced China's man-made and natural wonders, famous places and vibrant cities. T

he itinerary was a 12-day travel experience, including seven days on the Century Star river cruising and five days in various luxury hotels in Shanghai, Xian and Beijing, which took two additional days to get there and back home.

I would recommend this trip to anyone who wants to experience Chinese culture in ultra luxury and comfort onboard a cruise ship. Don't pass up a chance to visit China if you want a great time filled with new sights and sounds. The organized Viking River cruise and land tour called the Imperial Treasures of China provided one of the most enjoyable and memorable life experiences to date.
