Cunard have announced that the sculpture that is to appear onboard the line's new Queen Elizabeth is to be designed by an amateur artist, rather than a commissioned piece from a professional.

So break out your clay, chicken wire, bits of wood and metal from the garage and get creating - you never know - it could be you!

How often have you looked at modern art and thought "I could do better than that"? I know I have - well here is your chance. The winning piece will be set in the Royal Arcade of Queen Elizabeth when she is launched in October next year.
