To see the Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights) has always been a dream of mine. I’d be happy to be sat under them wrapped up warm, sat on the sea in a rowing boat. But to take the opportunity to see one of Mother Nature’s most beautiful gifts to earth, from the comfort of a luxury liner would just about blow my mind. The northern lights tend to only come out at night. So for the day, I’d need access to a high spec computer, with fast internet access to allow me to edit and upload my digital photos and videos. Also, a gym wouldn’t go unused and neither would personal use of the galley. Despite the blistering cold that would probably be apparent on deck, a hot tub to sit in and relax under the stars wouldn’t stray too far from ideal. Obviously I’d need to be able to captain the ship for a small period, just to say I have. Really, as long as Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio didn’t come along and start singing and ruining the view at the bow, then I’d be pretty much set.
