UNIWORLD RIVER CRUISES – INFORMATION

Uniworld’s European fleet of 11 riverboats sail the Danube, the Duoro, the Main, the Moselle, the Rhine, the Rhône, the Saône and the Seine, with optional flight excursions to Istanbul to reach Europe’s eastern edge. Each ship carries up to 164 guests and is individually designed and furnished, offering a distinctive voyage in luxurious surroundings, backing up the company’s claim to be ‘the world’s only authentic boutique cruise line’. Signature touches include hand-picked original art, floor-to-ceiling marble bathrooms and good spa and fitness facilities.

Gourmet cuisine is overseen on all ships by Global Master Chef Bernhard Zorn, and accommodation and guest services are designed in partnership with sister company Red Carnation Hotels. Onboard meals and drinks and onshore excursions are always included in the cruise price. New for 2012 are ‘Choice is Yours’ onshore sightseeing options, a ‘Go Active’ programme for adventurous explorers, and ‘Gentle Walking’ tours for those who wish to take in the scenery at a slower pace.
