OUR OPINION

The basics

Sonesta St George I was launched in November 2007 and can carry 114 guests in 5-star luxury. Some suites can accommodate three people.

We like

The ornate décor, spacious suites and well appointed marble and wood bathrooms really are wonderful. The Presidential Suites are very popular and sell out quickly.

What you should know

Egypt is a year-round destination. During our summer months there are less visitors as it can get hot, however the heat is a dry heat. Take a sun hat and comfortable footwear, as there is quite a lot of walking on the excursions. The ships are fully air-conditioned.

Recommended

For All age groups can appreciate the ship and the wonders of Egypt. Children are welcome, however there are no specific facilities for them
