CELEBRITY CRUISES BACKGROUND

Offering the ultimate in luxury and relaxation, Celebrity Cruises pride themselves on their exceptional service, award winning cuisine and the ability to escape into a world unlike any other aboard their twelve modern yet sophisticated cruise ships that retain the timeless charm, grandeur and elegance that cruising has been accustomed for.

As you would expect, a cruise with Celebrity is something to cherish and their ships consistently rank among the best in the world with both guests and the industry press. Service aboard is distinctively attentive, but not intrusive with a ratio of one crew member to every two passengers, rest-assuring that the excellent staff on board will be able to remember your favourite aperitif and cater for your every whim.

Here at The Luxury Cruise Company, we recommend a cruise aboard their award winning Solstice Class vessels, which offer a high level of ground breaking technology with sublime décor, gourmet cuisine, luxury accommodations and world class service.

Celebrity Constellation Wine Cruise

10 December 2012

Check-in was very fast and without incident. On this occasion there was a fast channel for Elite and Concierge passengers though it was not marked as such. However embarkation was being delayed as the ship was undergoing a deep clean. The facilities at the berth in Southampton are not the best so a couple of thousand people milling around made the place uncomfortable.

Celebrity Eclipse to Iceland August 2012

16 October 2012

My holiday got off to a worrying start as I had bought a new sat-nav that took me via a different route to my old one - but we got there in about the same time. This time I was parked immediately opposite the entry doors to the terminal and not a couple of hundred yards astern of the ship. But the queues!

Solstice Med Cruise

16 October 2012

My first Celebrity cruise and I chose the ’Solstice’ for a Mediterranean cruise in June sailing from Barcelona. I found the ship very comfortable, no huge open spaces and lots of small quiet areas to sit so the ship never felt as full as it actually was.

An Adventure To A Wannebe Celebrity

16 October 2012

Cruising from South Africa is an expensive experience, but after celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary last year on the Mediterranean (maiden voyage), my wife and I have booked a cruise to take our daughters and son-in-laws (and very new grandson) on holiday of a lifetime on the Celebrity Equinox in July 2012 (Greek Isles & Turkey), and the opportunity to build some of the most incredible memories for us as a family.

Celebrity Eclipse Caribbean Cruise

16 October 2012

The flight arrangements worked like clockwork and all the transfers were successful - in massive, gas-guzzling (and very luxurious) vehicles.
