Launched in 2007, Azamara Club Cruises are renowned for being a premium-luxury cruise line that feature longer and overnight stays in ports that larger ships are unable to reach. Their two ships are "boutique-sized" and carry just 694 guests, making them perfect to provide an elegant and intimate cruising experience.
Every voyage with Azamara delivers a glamorous cruising experience; complete with new and exciting offerings designed to enhance the guests overall enjoyment and experience. Service aboard is attentive yet far from intrusive and their recently renovated ships feature all the latest modern conveniences that you would expect from a five star hotel including an expanded spa and fitness centre. All staterooms and suites benefit from European-style butler service and more inclusive extras than ever before including:
~ Gratuities for the ships crew
~ Complimentary bottled water, sodas and speciality teas & coffees
~ Boutique red and white wines to enjoy throughout the day
~ Beers and spirits
~ Free shuttle transportation to city centres in certain ports
~ A complimentary evening excursion known as "AzAmazing Evenings"
Aboard the Azamara Journey, you can expect an intimate cruising experience on a “boutique-sized” ship decked out with superb amenities.
Onboard Azamara Quest, decked out with fantastic facilities and amenities, you will find two speciality restaurants, a spa, café, and number of bars. You will also be treated to live entertainment and be invited to enjoy the enrichment programme.
The two Azamara ships (Journey & Quest) have recently been refurbished and offer butler services in every suite. The ships are also relatively small in cruising terms (they only carry 694 guests each) so they can reach the smaller ports of call that the larger ships simply cannot get into.
The “more inclusive” aspect of Azamara Club Cruises and all that’s now included in the fare. The complimentary wine served at lunch and dinner is of excellent quality. Furthermore the fare covers such activities as shuttle buses to the town, enrichment programmes onboard, speciality coffees, bottled water, soft drinks and teas.
These smaller ships do not have the big production shows found on the mega-liners so evenings entertainment is a lower key affair. Quite often the entertainment involves cabaret, poolside parties and late night quizzes.
Like other cruise lines the alternative dining venues often get booked up extremely quickly so ensure to book these up on the first day of the cruise. Likewise ensure spa treatments are also booked up in advance to avoid disappointment.
Couples and singles who like to immerse themselves in the destination, who like longer port times in an elegant yet informal atmosphere.
These special offers and exclusives are usually only available for a limited period and may have further terms and conditions attached.

Norwegian Fjord Voyage – Azamara Journey 7th August 2011. This was an “extra” cruise to celebrate my 70th birthday, and boy, what a celebration !! I know the wine with lunch and dinner is included, but the welcome on-board with a REALLY free glass of champagne is a great start to the cruise..
