The basics

The APT fleet of river ships consists of vessels from the AmaWaterways fleet. Each river-cruise ship offers comfortable surroundings with spacious cabins, charming staff and the best cuisine on the waterwayss of Europe. In addition, each vessel may have a small gym and bicycles that you can take ashore.

What you should know

The cabins on the lower decks have a small ‘letterbox’ style window that is quite high up, so we would recommend you upgrade to a AMA private balcony – well worth it.

A Dream Came True

This cruise from Budapest to Amsterdam with extensions to Prague and Paris was the BEST EVER holiday I have ever had. Everything was ’spot on’; from the staff, food, restaurants cabins, entertainment, tours, arrivals and departures, local guides, tour directors.

On the actual evening the ship cruised up and down between the fairy lit bridges of Budapest and we waltzed on deck to the strains of Johann Strauss’s Blue Danube!
