Golf Themed Cruises

A Golf themed cruise can be great fun for golfers and their partners – even if the partner does not play! Crystal Cruises have a PGA Golf Pro sailing on two voyages in 2012 and golf celebrities discuss the PGA Tour onboard in enlightening lectures. Optional shore excursions take you to world-famous courses.

Other cruise partners that feature golf include Silversea, Star Clipper, SeaDream and Azamara Club Cruises. We can also arrange private tours to golf courses for you, creating your very own golf cruise. For the Golf Widow – the ships all have excellent facilities onboard – why not indulge in a Spa Day?

Food and Wine Theme Cruises

Many of the luxury cruise lines and our cruise partners will offer Food and Wine theme cruises. Often a guest/celebrity chef will be onboard to give cooking demonstrations, talks and may even cook in the speciality restaurants. There are usually plenty of opportunities to meet the chef and have Q&A sessions too. For example, Chef Nobu Matsuhisa, founder of the infamous NOBU restaurants, will be sailing with Crystal Cruises, where he has the only sea-going NOBU restaurant onboard.

Celebrity Cruises have a number Culinary Cruises departing from the UK in 2012, with a focus on the wines of Europe.

Oceania Cruises are well known for their culinary expertise, and so a Food and Wine Theme cruise seems a natural partnership. Jacques Pepin, who has a speciality restaurant onboard, will be sailing on the Marina later in 2012, and they also operate a number of cruises featuring the Bon Appetite Wine and Food festival.

Silversea Cruises have a well-established partnership with Relais and Chateux, and offer a cooking school onboard their ships. The Relais & Châteaux L'École des Chefs cooking school at sea provides guests with a special culinary curriculum, including hands-on instruction, and entertaining events hosted by Silversea culinary trainer David Bilsland, a former instructor at the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu culinary school in London. Guest can also go shopping with the Chefs when they go to local markets to source fresh local ingredients.
